Manufactured Products by “Balma, Capoduri & C. s.p.a.”

In light of the new Regulation (EU) 2023/988, effective from December 13, 2024, concerning the general safety of products intended for final consumers, Balma, Capoduri & C. is primarily classified as a “manufacturer” of mechanical office accessories, branded “ZENITH” desktop accessories, and branded “Coccoina” stationery and paper products.

The products, manufactured in Italy and placed on the market, are made in compliance with the Regulation, with particular attention to Article 9 (manufacturer obligations), considering the operational conditions and the intended uses of the products.

Balma, Capoduri & C. has fulfilled the obligation of internal risk assessment pursuant to Article 9, paragraph 2, of Regulation 988/2023.

Products “ETONA”, “MAX”, “CARL”, and “Bilcom”
(exclusively distributed in Italy by “Balma, Capoduri & C. s.p.a.”)

In light of the new Regulation (EU) 2023/988, effective from December 13, 2024, concerning the general safety of products intended for final consumers, Balma, Capoduri & C. assumes the role of “importer” and “distributor” of items under the brands “ETONA”, “CARL”, “MAX” and “Bilcom”.

The products, imported and distributed in Italy and placed on the market, are made in compliance with the Regulation, with particular attention to Articles 11 (importer obligations) and 12 (distributor obligations), considering the operational conditions and the intended uses of the products.

As an importer/distributor, Balma, Capoduri & C. has verified compliance with the general safety obligation provided for in Article 5, and ensured that the manufacturer complies with the provisions of Article 9, paragraphs 2, 5, and 6 of Regulation 988/2023.

Considering the above, no responsibility is accepted for any direct or indirect damage to persons or property resulting from transport, storage, or other activities carried out by the distributor/retailer/customer, or from any substantial modification of the product or alteration of safety conditions made by third parties.
